Following the invitation by the Commissioner of Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency (ATLA), mr. Nobuaki Miyama, the GDDIA General Director Vice Admiral (rtd.) K. Kyriakidis and GDDIA staff officers visited the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2018 Tokyo (JA2018TOKYO), which takes place on 28-30 November.
The top aerospace industries of the world take part in JA2018TOKYO. During the exhibition mr. Kyriakidis with the presence of the ambassador of Greece in Tokyo, mr. K. Kakiousis, had the chance to visit the participants pavilions. They also visited the Greek pavilion, where, under the auspices of Hellenic Aerospace Industry Association (HASI), the Hellenic Space Agency, ISI, INASCO, Prisma Electronics SA and Theon Sensors took part.
The General Director, with the presence of the ambassador mr. Kakiousis, met the Japanese Minister of Defence, mr. Takeshi Iwaya, and the commissioner of ATLA, mr. Nobuaki Miyama. During these meetings issues of common interest were discussed.
