The General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence is organising the EDIP Info Day and Greece-Cyprus Defence Industry Day on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers’ Club in Athens.

The event aims to:

• provide information on the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP), as well as forthcoming European programmes and funding frameworks (AGILE, ECF and MFF);

• strengthen cooperation between the Greek and Cypriot defence-industrial and research ecosystems.

The morning session will feature institutional and informational presentations by representatives of DG DEFIS and GDDIA, covering EDIP and forthcoming European initiatives, opportunities for industry participation, cross-border cooperation and bilateral defence-industrial cooperation.

The afternoon session, from 14:00 to 17:00, will be dedicated to structured Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings between Greek and Cypriot companies and organisations. Meetings will be arranged on the basis of business, technological and industrial relevance, with the objective of facilitating concrete partnerships, consortia and joint proposals.

The event is intended for:

• companies forming part of the Greek and Cypriot defence technological and industrial bases;

• defence industry associations and federations;

• research and technology organisations;

• academic institutions;

• investment funds, including venture capital funds.

Companies wishing to participate in the B2B meetings must select “Yes” in the relevant section of the registration form and provide additional information to facilitate matchmaking and meeting scheduling:

On-site registration will take place from 08:30 to 09:00. Further organisational information and, where applicable, individual B2B meeting schedules will be communicated to registered participants before the event.
