From 04 to 07 February 2020, a delegation of the GDDIA, headed by the General Director of the GDDIA, Lieutenant General (rtd) Theodoros Lagios (HAF) visited the «DEFEXPO 2020» International Defense Material Exhibition, held in Lucknow, India, following an invitation from the Indian side.

With the Defense Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Defense, Dr. Ajay Kumar, IAS
With representatives of MKU, upon request, during the presentation of its products (shields for various uses and night vision systems)
With representatives of the Spanish shipyard NAVANTIA, at his request, during which a demonstration of its products took place.
With representatives of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), during which they discussed issues of cooperation and synergies of mutual interest
On Thursday, 06 February 2020, a meeting was held between the General Director of GDDIA, Lieutenant General (rtd) Theodoros LAGIOS (HAF) with the Greek Ambassador, Mr. Dionysios Kyvetos, in New Delhi, exchanging views on the development of bilateral cooperation with India, especially in the defense industry, as well as the results of the meetings at DEFEXPO 2020.
