On February, 20th, 2020, General Director of the GDDIA, Lieutenant General (rtd) Theodoros Lagios (HAF), attended at the European Defence Agency (EDA) Steering Board, at National Armaments Directors (NAD) level.
During the Steering Board:
Directors were briefed on the development of the Overarching Strategic research Agenda (OSRA), as well as on the Agency’s work on the Key Strategic Activities (KAS) and the state of play and next steps to be taken on the Strategic Context Cases (SCC)
They discussed the state of play and the Agency’s role in the implementation of the EU defence initiative (CARD, PESCO, EDF)
Directors were also provided with an update by the new Commission DG Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) and the Commission DG Environment in the area of Circular Economy.
