Meeting with Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA) of Japan

Today, on 12th July 2018, a meeting was held in GDDIA premises between the General Director of GDDIA Vice Admiral (ret.) Kyriakos Kyriakidis and his counterpart of the Japanese government, Mr. Yoshiyuki Suzuki. At the meeting representative of the Hellenic Civil Protection Secretariat was also present.
During the meeting discussions of common interest were held and the two parties investigated possibilities of further cooperation in the security and defence field.
Mr. Suzuki visits our country within the context of bilateral contact, which began in September 2017 following visit of Mr. Kyrakidis in Tokyo.
The Japanese official will also visit the premises of the HAI and the 112 CW of HAF, where he will be briefed about their capabilities.
