On Monday, October 12, 2020, the European Defense Agency Meeting was held under the National Armaments Directors. This meeting was originally scheduled to take place in Hamburg on 12 October 2020, however, however, in accordance with the measures against the spread of COVID -19, it was held via video teleconference.
The Greek delegation consisted of the General Director of GDDIA, Lieutenant General (HAF) Theodoros Lagios (Rtd) as head, the Director of the Department of International Relations of GDDIA, Rear Admiral, Athanasios Sampos, and Permanent Employee of First Degree, Evangelia Stavropoulou, person of contact of GDDIA with the National Armaments Directors.
Αt the meeting issues of common interest were discussed, views on defence issues were exchanged and the Executive Director of the European Defense Agency briefed the National Armaments Directors on the current developments of the Agency in CARD matters and EU-NATO cooperation at the level of National Armaments Directors.
