Within the context of GDDIA continuous effort to promote extroversion and innovation and in the light of the developments in Europe in the field of Defence [European Defence Industrial Development Program (EDIDP), European Defence Research Program (EDRP), European Defence Fund (EDF)], a two-day conference will take place at LAED, 8-9 March.
The presentations of the 1st day are related to the developments in Europe in the field of Defence and Innovation, with the view of preparing the domestic Defence Industry for the release of funding of defence projects, mainly under EDIDP.
The 2nd day presentations will be made by SME, in order to promote innovation and at the same time to bolster SME for their participation at consortiums. Taking into consideration that EDIDP is a development program, the maturity level of proposals should be over TRL>3, which means that the proposal should have a completed proof of concept. Additionally the proposals should contain innovations, not necessary purely defence oriented, that support products and services which are referred at the topics of the attached “presentation form”.
The participants should complete the attached “participation form” and send it to GDDIA until 16 February 2018.
Especially the SME’s that intent to make presentations, are additionally requested to complete the attached “presentation form” and send it to GDDIA until the 16th of February. The GDDIA will assess the submitted presentations and then GDDIA will select the presentations of the conference.
