On December 4, 2019, the first meeting of the Defense Research, Technology & Industry Board (DRTIB) was held in the Hellenic Armed Forces Officer’s Club. DRTIB is an advisory board that submitting proposals for the key points in the planning of government policy, both in the field of defence research and technology, as well as in the defence industry, within the framework of the National Defence and Industrial Strategy (NDIS).
The DRTIB has seventeen members and is represented in addition to the Ministry of Defence, by Universities and Research Institutes (RI), the Hellenic Defence Industry, the General Secretariat for Research & Technology and the General Secretariat for Industry.
