1st Hellenic – Slovakian Defence Industry Day Meeting

On Tuesday 3 October 2017, during the official visit of the Slovak Minister of Defense to Athens, the 1st Hellenic -Slovakian Defense Industry Day was held at the Officers Club (LAED) in Athens.
The meeting was inaugurated by the Slovak Minister of Defence, Mr Gajdoš Peter and the Alternate Minister of National Defence, Mr Dimitris Vitsas.
The closing remarks of the meeting were made by the General Director of GDDIA, Vice Admiral (ret) K. Kyriakidis.
From the Greek side the meeting was attended by the General Director of GDDIA and the Chief of HNDGS. Representatives from the two Hellenic Defense Industry associations (HASDIG and SEKPY) and from the companies AKMON, ALTUS LSA, HDS, HDVS, IDE, ISI Hellas, MILTECH, Prisma Electronics, THEON SENSORS and MEVACO participated in the meeting .
From the Slovak side the meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Athens, Ms Iveta Hricová. Representatives from the companies LOT TN, Way Industry, DMD Group EVPÚ, Konstruta Defense and MSM Group participated in the meeting.
