On 02 October 2017 the 1st Hellenic-Cypriot Defence Industry Day Meeting took place in Nicosia. The meeting was organized by the GDDIA and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus.
The 1st Hellenic-Cypriot Defence Industry Day Meeting was inaugurated by the Greek Minister of Defence Mr. Kammenos and the Cypriot Minister of Defemce Mr Fokaidis.
From the Greek side the General Director of GDDIA and the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff were present.
The Hellenic defence industry was represented by the Hellenic Aerospace Security and Defence Industries Group (HASDIG), the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Material Association (SEKPY) and
representatives of the following companies: Aeroservices, AKMON, ALTUS, BARRACUDA, BOSA, COSMOS BS, HAI, HDS, HDVS, IDE, ISI, MILTECH, Prisma Electtronics, THALES HELLAS and THEON SENSORS.
The Cypriot defence industry was represented by the following companies: Carantex, Dedalos Technology Services, Geomatic Technologies, Geolmaging, Plath, Signal Generix.
In addition, delegation of several Universities and Research Centers of Cyprus attended the meeting.
