On Friday, 11 July 2025, a meeting was held at GDDIA premises between the General Director of the GDDIA Major General Ioannis Bouras and the General Director for Security and Defence Policy of the Federal Ministry of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Jasper Wieck. During the meeting were discussed issues of mutual interest with a view to defence cooperation between the two countries.
