From October 14 to 16, 2024, a delegation of the GDDIA headed by Major General Ioannis Bouras, General Director, participated in the annual AUSA (Association of the United States Army) Defense Equipment Exhibition.
During the visit, the General Director of GDDIA met and had conversations with the Ambassador of Greece in the US Ms. Ekaterini Nassika, Brigadier General Allen J. Pepper (Commanding General US Army Security Assistance Command), Mr. Patrick Mason (Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports & Cooperation), Mr. Michael F. Miller (Deputy Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency) and Mr Nikolaos Bakatselos, (President of American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce).
At the same time, he toured all the areas of the Exhibition, highlighting the research, development, production and innovation capabilities of the Hellenic Defense Industry, which was well represented at the Exhibition by 17 companies.
