From February 10th to 12th, 2025, a visit took place at the AERO INDIA 2025 International Air Show, held in Bangalore, India, by a delegation of the GDDIA headed by Major General Ioannis Bouras, General Director, in the context of strengthening military and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The visit took place following the invitation by the Department of Defense Production of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of India and during its duration the General Director participated in a Defense Ministers’ Conclave on the resilience of defense supply chains, as well as in a round table on the impact of the use of UAVs and UCAVs on operations.
At the same time, he attended air demonstrations, while he had meetings with the Chief of the Air Staff of the Republic of India, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, with the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff of the Republic of India, Air Marshal Sujeet Pushpakar Dharkar, with the Directors of the respective Armaments Directorates of Israel and Cyprus, as well as with economic entities active in the field of defense and security, both in India and other countries.
