The International Defence Equipment Exhibition: International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) 2017, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 18-23 Feb is comleted.
This event is one of the largest defense equipment exhibitions worldwide, which is held every second year.
The Greek Defense Industry (EAVI) participated in the exhibition under the Hellenic Pavilion which was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense (GDDIA) for promoting the Greek Defence Industry.
At the Hellenic Pavilion participated: HDS, HAI, INTRACOM Defence Electronics, ISI, Baracuda, while Theon and Miltech were represented in separate booths.
The exhibition was visited by MoD the Minister of National Defence MR P. Kammenos, the Chief of Defence Admiral Ev. Apostolakis and Chief of Navy Vice Admiral N. Tsounis.
The Greek pavilion among others visited the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and UAE Minister of Defence Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the successor of Jordan Feizal, the MoD of Indonesia and the Philippines and official delegations from several states.
