The 12th meeting of the Joint Hellenic-Russian Commission for Military and Technical Cooperation is held on July 12-14 2016, in Saint Petersburg Russia. The Hellenic delegation is headed by the GDDIA Alternate Director General Vice Admiral HN (ret) Kyriakos Kyriakidis and the Russian delegation by the FSMTC First Deputy Director Mr. Andrey Boytsov. The Commission’s meetings are repeated yearly and within their framework the two parties are reviewing their common on-going defence programs.
During this period, the GDDIA Alternate Director General had a fringe meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy, competent for defence armaments issues and they discussed matters of common interest.
