From May 6 to 8, 2025, the 3rd International Defence and Security Exhibition, DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens, took place at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos,” where leading Greek and international companies presented land, sea, air, and homeland security defense systems.
During the International Exhibition, the leadership of the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) held meetings with numerous National Delegations (France, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Israel, Italy, Cyprus), representatives of the European Defence Agency, the European Commission, OCCAR, as well as companies, where topics of mutual interest were discussed.
At the same time, they toured all areas of the Exhibition, showcasing the capabilities of the Hellenic Defense Industry in research, development, production, and innovation, which was well-represented at the Exhibition with more than 190 exhibitors.
