On Wednesday, 3rd of February, 2021, the first meeting of the Defense Research, Technology & Industry Board (DRTIB) was held, via teleconference, under the chairmenship of GDDIA’s General Director, Lieutenant General (Rtd) Theodoros Lagios (HAF).
DRTIB is an advisory board that elaborates proposals for the key points in the planning of government policy, both in the field of defence research and technology, and in the field of defence industry, within the framework of the National Defence and Industrial Strategy (NDIS).
The DRTIB has seventeen members that represent the Ministry of Defence, Universities and Research Institutes (RI), the Hellenic Defence Industry, the General Secretariat of Research & Innovation and the General Secretariat of Industry.
