The General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), set up by provisions of Article 72 of Law. 3433/2006 “Armed Forces Defence Materiel Procurement”, is responsible for planning and implementation of decisions on matters of Defence Programs and Contracts Procurement of major or other material Armament Programs, Contracts Offset (offsets), Quality Assurance and Investment Defence and Technological Research.
